Encounter Renewal Retreat offers participants a car-camping experience with the luxury of a camp kitchen, bathrooms and showers, and varying levels of optional hikes and activities to suit any adventure palate.
Encounter Mountain Edition offers a strenuous worship experience high in the Colorado mountains. Adventurers may attempt to summit multiple 14,000' mountains as we listen to His voice in the thin air.
Encounter Nepal offers an incredible 60 - 80-mile Himalayan trekking adventure amongst the highest, most awe-inspiring peaks in the world. Pour yourself out in the high mountains - body, soul, and spirit, and hear His voice like you never have before! (Dates are approximate.)
Encounter Sabbath offers a 1-night, 30-hour experience right in the DFW metroplex. Participants will enjoy guided prayer and meditation as well as a delicious food, fellowship, and worship around the fire, all within a few miles of your front door!
Each experience offers an experience consecrated to pursuing the Lord in the beauty of nature. There are no speakers or pep talks. No moving lights or fog machines. We won’t spend much time talking about God but rather with Him. You will have opportunities for guided times of silence, prayer, Scripture, worship, self-guided free time, Godly conversations, and speaking and receiving wisdom as you lay your heart before the Great Physician.
